Art Gallery of Greater Victoria: ARTBase
The Art Gallery has "the most comprehensive collection of Japanese art in Canada," and thousands of objects from this collection appear in this online database, along with a large collection of Chinese art and smaller collections of Korean and Vietnamese art. The Cleveland Museum of Art: Asian Art Collection
Explore the CMA's online collection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, and Southeast Asian art by department or by using the Advanced Search option. There are nearly 5,000 objects online in these categories; currently more than 2,000 of these include images. Images enlarge and can be grouped into a personal collection that can be saved and shared.

The Detroit Institute of Arts: Asian Art Collection
Database of more than 650 objects from the DIA's collection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, South Asian, and Southeast Asian Art. Currently artworks from South Asia make up the bulk of this online collection. Thumbnail images enlarge to Full View and Zoom View; the latter provides excellent close-up detail of objects. Users can also search the collection using a keyword search, or select certain terms from an object's label information (such as Sculpture or Yuan Dynasty) to see all the objects in that particular category. The MyDIA feature allows registered users to create online galleries to save and to share.

Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Smithsonian Institution: The Collections
Featuring more than 5,000 objects from the Freer/Sackler's collection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Southeast Asian, South Asian, and Himalayan art. All images enlarge, and many also have short descriptions. The Search Collections function finds objects by keyword or phrase. Users can also register and use the e|GALLERY tool to gather favorite objects from the collection into a gallery that can be shared with others.
